Chances are if you subscribe to Runner’s World, you’ve ignored an email that included this video. Well today I finally watched it, and YOU SHOULD TOO! Coming from someone who has had very little explained by doctors other than “eh, hang out and see if it stops hurting”; this is a really great resource.

You’re thinking: I’m a smart runner Lauren, not a crazy person like you, I do not need to worry about overuse injuries. You are wrong. When I was diagnosed with stress fractures, I was following the same exact training plan that I had followed for a previous marathon when I didn’t have trouble with injuries.
